Plurall is a B2B and B2G edtech from Cogna Educação that offers teaching and learning solutions for schools through a digital platform. When applying usability tests with managers, I identified that schools failed to apply assessments through Plurall because they did not feel safe. The main concern was not being able to identify and prevent suspicious behavior from students during evaluations (e.g., cheating). This compromised confidence in performance results and hindered pedagogical planning.

My role was to help create a feature that would allow teachers to monitor in real time the assessments applied through Plurall. The goal was to identify and prevent suspicious behavior, offering more security during the application of assessments and confidence in student performance data.

I worked in partnership with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and Business Partners to validate the solution flow and align business rules and technical limitations. Then, I performed a benchmarking to understand how other platforms solved this problem and created wireframes to validate the flows with engineering. Finally, I developed the interface using the Design System and conducted the hand-off for development. One of the main challenges was to balance an efficient experience for teachers and managers, without making monitoring invasive for students during the test.

The Monitored Room increased the feeling of security and control during evaluations, generated more confidence in performance data, and encouraged the adoption of Plurall in evaluation contexts, allowing schools to use the results more safely to support pedagogical planning.
