Redesigning a Platform for Referral Marketing

More Buzz is a B2B and B2C platform for referral marketing that needed to evolve the web experience to support business expansion. The main goal was to create a hybrid mobile app, support multiple brands (white label), and establish design standards to facilitate evolution.

My role was to lead the end-to-end Product Design process, from discovery to delivery, working together with business, marketing and development to align user needs with business objectives.

I started by mapping the business and personas with a Service Blueprint. Then, I conducted a UX audit and benchmarking to identify issues and opportunities. From these learnings, I conducted co-creation sessions, developed prototypes, and conducted usability tests with real users. Considering factors such as timeframe, team capacity, and technical infrastructure limitations, we deprioritized the development of the hybrid application, focusing efforts on evolving the responsive web experience and creating a stronger foundation for product growth. In the last step, I created a style guide and a library of components that helped me recreate the product's interface design with a focus on consistency and scalability.

I delivered a responsive experience prepared for white label, with a more consistent and scalable design base. The tests also allowed me to adjust the architecture and language of the product to bring it closer to the mental model of the users, contributing to increase adoption and retention on the platform.
